Lobbying for local businesses

By effectively communicating our policy positions to those in power or with influence, through correspondence, briefings and media statements, Dorset Chamber aims to influence the process outcome in favour of its members.

The Chamber strives to be “the voice of Dorset” and also adds its voice to the lobbying activity of South West and South East Chambers of Commerce and the British Chamber of Commerce.

Our most recent lobbying success was where Dorset Chamber and its Members helped lobby Government into agreeing to the much needed Weymouth Relief Road prior to the 2012 Olympic Games.
