Keen traveller joins PcW as graduate trainee - 28/07/2010
CHRIS Way has joined chartered accountants and business advisers Princecroft Willis (PcW) as a graduate accounts trainee.
The 24-year-old’s appointment is part of the Dorset and New Forest firm’s strategy to attract high quality graduates.
Chris had an industrial placement at PcW while studying Accounting and Taxation at Bournemouth University.
Previously he worked for Barclays Bank for two years, joining as a cashier and eventually securing promotion to Banking Hall Manager.
A keen traveller, Chris trekked around Thailand with the organisation ‘World Challenge’ which involved staying with a hill tribe for a week.
He also spent five months travelling along Australia’s East Coast where he went whale-watching, swam with sharks in an aquarium and hand-fed wild dolphins.
PcW is the largest firm of independent chartered accountants and business advisers in Dorset and the New Forest, with 12 partners and more than 100 team members.
The firm, which has offices in Poole and the New Forest, recruits an average of two graduate trainees each year.
