Established in 1949, Dorset Chamber of Commerce & Industry has a long and proud tradition of serving the business community.

We are recognised as one of the most active chambers in the UK alongside larger Chamber such as London, Birmingham, Thames Valley and Aberdeen & Grampian. One of 52 accredited chambers in the UK, we guarantee to deliver business a high quality of service and a comprehensive range of activities.

An independent organisation Dorset Chamber represents the interests of approaching a thousand members from sole trader businesses to large multi-nationals, with representatives from every business sector.

We help support our members by

  • creating a welcoming and supportive environment, assisting companies to make new business contacts, develop business relationships, and secure more business, both at home and abroad;
  • giving all employees of member companies access to all membership benefits. Our range of commercial benefits are free to members or offered at a substantial discount, enabling members to save on the running costs of their business;
  • providing PR, marketing and sponsorship opportunities to suit all sizes of business, enabling our members to grow and market their products and services more easily and ultimately raise their profile in the business community; and by
  • looking after the interests of the business community. We listen and take on board the concerns and issues impacting on businesses in Dorset, provide a lobbying forum, and make strong representation to all levels of government.
